how to create something new whilst the whole world tries to do so? the amalgam of soundscaping elements with fieldrecordings and cinematic atmospheres, underlined with au courant electronic beat programming isn’t even close to be called a new thing, but as always, the difference lies in the details. ruben koster and menno jager met me raabenstein via the net, just another very contemporary behaviour, and soon after decided to start a project together. files were sent, first scetches outlined but soon the need to work face to face appeared. meeting in berlin and producing tracks together changed the lagerfeltz idea completely, filling in the personal dialogue and the necessity sharing musical positions and differences.
